We were up bright and early today and on the strip by 08:00
to catch the bus up the strip where we hopped off and then went to board a 2nd
one heading east. Unfortunately Danny’s stomach was not in the mood for this
early start and we soon had to call off our morning plans and make our way back
towards the hotel!
After a long walk back, which included a brief bit of free
gambling (we still lost) and a wee spot of lunch, we made it back to the hotel
and had a little flutter in the casino.
We passed the rest of the day by finishing off the hellish
task of photo sorting and blogging before popping downstairs for some tea.
After this we spent a few hours in the casino working around the different
machines, eventually coming out only $10 down – yey! Due to actually spending
more than 10 minutes in the casino we finally got to abuse the drink service.
This is where a waitress will come around and take drinks orders of anyone who
is gambling. She will then bring you the drink and you simply tip her whatever
you like – normally $1 per drink. 3 JD’s and cokes along with 3 vodka and OJs
for $6 – not bad.
Hopefully Danny’s stomach will recover in time for tomorrow
so it is an early night tonight.
