Day 145 - Walking Half the Strip

After a little sleep in we decided to have a walk along the strip to see if we could get any of the Cirque Du Soleil ticket cheaply at the ticket places they’ve got scattered on the strip. The heat was a scorching 40 degrees and we kept walking through casinos to help to keep us cool. This was a mistake as we ended up losing $11 during this tactical walking!

Eventually we found one of the ticket places though the Ka performance we were after would not be available until Tuesday and so we decided that we’d come back for those tickets then. We did end up getting Titanic exhibition tickets at a fraction of the price which was good and so we now have something to do tomorrow.

We continued on our walk, checking out more shops and casinos until the heat was too much and so we nipped into Margaritaville to cool down with a frozen margarita – this was sooo refreshing.

We did make it a little further down where we got some food at Earl of Sandwich; which is a really good place to get a sarni from we have discovered. After this we decided to walk back and leave the rest of the strip for tomorrow!

Back at the hotel Danny continued with the blogging whilst Corrie slept!
