A pretty quiet day really.
We started it with a lie-in as Danny was drained from the
driving and seeing as we knew we wouldn’t be up to anything later on we thought
why not.
The, roughly 4hr 45mins (with lunch break), drive was yet
another scenic one with lots of blessed long silences from the world’s
stupidest sat-nav. The reason for this is that most places we’d be going
covered long distances and so we’d have to stick to one road for a long time
before we’d have to turn off. It was a little strange to have to “turn left in
89 miles.”
We arrived at our cost saving Motel 6 in Paso Robles in time
to drive into the town for a lovely bit of Thai cuisine for our teas before
going back for an early night.
