In a zombie-like state we got up and packed our things
before leaving to go and return the rental car for 07:00. After dropping off
the car we caught a cab into the historic part of Philadelphia’s town where we
then attempted to check in to our hotel. We actually got lucky here and managed
to check in early after waiting for an hour or so. We lugged our stuff up to
the room and then crashed onto the bed. This is a nice room, very nice in fact
and even has a Jacuzzi next to the bed! We didn’t spend that much on the hotel
and so were very shocked with this discovery – cool!
The rest of our day was spent lazing around, watching the
Harry Potter marathon on TV, and making calls etc before going out for some
lovely Italian food before bed.
