Day 54 - A Short Day 300 Metres Up in the Air

After a very very long lie-in we got up and had some chocolate cake! Corrie polished off her remaining pizza and then we both got ready to head out into the City.

Much walking later we crossed the river and noticed that the sky was fairly clear today. This is when we decided to go up the Eureka Skydeck tower to have a look at the views from there. We ended up spending the whole afternoon on floor 88 of the tower as we were surrounded by great views but had the added bonus of free Wi-Fi! We opted out of the glass-floored, extending viewing room due to the price and no camera policy. The room’s quite cool though in that the glass is opaque until the room’s extended out, when it then becomes clear all of a sudden to the surprise of everyone inside.

We eventually made our way back down to Earth and went in search of food, which came in the form of a McDonalds.

After that we went back to the hotel for the remainder of the evening.
