Day 25 - Long trip to Airlie Beach

After or receptionist kindly dropped us off at the transit centre we hopped on the Oz Ex bus that would take us on the long trip north to Airlie Beach. This would be a long trip as there’s apparently very little en-route so we wouldn't make any stops for sightseeing stuff.

The trip was long; lots of sleeping, reading and listening to music was done but we finally made it to “Airlie-no-Beach” (due to one very small beach being here.)

We really just checked in to our first hostel then went out for tea before heading back for bed.

Another short day and it looks like there’s a couple more days of relaxing to be had here as there’s not much to do other than sailing trips it would seem. Oh well, sunbathing it is (weather permitting!)

Also, due to budget stresses we’ve decided to try and just have $20 per day to get all our food. This will be fun but any suggestions other than sandwiches or pot noodles would be welcomed.
