Day 23 - Lazy day in Rockhampton

After a nice lie-in today we got up to do some sunbathing by the pool which lasted until about 14:00.

We then had a sandwich each for lunch and then just relaxed and lounged around for the rest of the afternoon (there’s not much to do in Rockhampton.)

At about 19:30 we trotted up the road to Woolworths for some more supplies and on the way back we stopped for tea at a Noodle Box (learning from our last trip there and getting a small box of noodles each this time.)

We decided that Rockhampton is an alright place, though later we decided this is probably because we’ve been able to chill out for a bit; as opposed to the hopping on and off of buses, checking in and out of hostels, and silly amounts of walking! It’s been nice to slow it down a bit… We’re glad we’ve got the trip to Fiji booked in half way through these travels now.

Then it was time for a bit more relaxing before bed… We did say it was a lazy day!
