We were tired from yesterday’s sightseeing and so slept in
but were soon on the road again and making our way on a 3hr 15mins or so drive
to the small town of Ridgecrest where we had managed to find a Motel 6 to stop
at for the next two nights. This place would be our base to venture into the
Death Valley National Park from; there were closer places to stay but all of
them were more expensive and we at least had a rough idea of what to expect
from the M6 accommodation.
After checking in we got a few supplies from a local shop
and later grabbed a greasy KFC for tea before going back to finally try and get
up-to-date with the blog and Corrie’s diary.
Not very eventful today.
